Sparrow in the cage (For Maya Angelou and You)

If a sparrow loves, he can be a canary or a hawk,
can die in the cage of loved soul
even when he dies of sorrow and pain,
evil thoughts can't his love to choke.

He knows who can save him from the cage,
but chatting with her nowhere leads,
He can't be a parrot of love on front page
because he sings about the freedom he needs.

Vrabac u kavezu (Maji Anđelu i Tebi)

Vrabac može biti kanarinac ako voli,
može da umre u kavezu voljene duše,
ali ni mrtavom od patnje i boli
zle misli ne mogu pjesmu da mu uguše.

On zna ko može iz kaveza da ga izbavi,
ali priča s njom nigdje ne vodi,
on ne može da bude papagaj ljubavi
jer vrabac pjeva o vječnoj slobodi.
