Do I spread it thickly?
Or sparingly this time?
Do I savour its delicious flavour? ~
This ‘Mango, Ginger, Vanilla Bean’ Jam.
At last I’ve got a pot,
My taste buds wait expectantly,
When will I have some?
I’ll have to wait ~ you see.
It is my weekly treat,
Before to Synagogue I go,
Each Shabbat Morning,
Then I’ll eat it ~ slow.
Delicious on my Challah,
For it is a luxury,
Sent to me by my Brother-in-law,
To eat with my cup of tea.
He knows that I do like it,
My Brother-in-law, Leon Day,
And I send him my Best Wishes
For his Sixtieth on 7th of February.
