Spiders. Poem by Arfa Iris

Spiders.

the creatures too odd,
are spiders the arthropods-
insects with their skeleton outside.
they are of colors dull & bright.
they belong to arachnida class-
the species of mass.
well known as silk spinners,
or the cruel killers.
some use venom to kill,
& bellies they fill.
while the jumping spider pounce,
on its prey & suck it ounce by ounce
silk funnels, some spin,
& feed on the insects trapped in.
the brightly colored crab spider,
is an excellent garden hider.
it hides in flower sector,
& hunts the insects looking for nectar.
these creatures too odd & venomous,
yet simply beautiful & marvelous.
