Spin Recovery Poem by Eric Bult

Training of an air force pilot must
Include of course recovery from spin.
My first experience of that feature just
About removed my fixed and happy grin.
I knew by then the feeling of a stall,
An exercise one should not try, at least
Without bags of height beneath and all
Aboard are well prepared to meet the beast.
A spin may follow should a turn ensue;
Immediately the fixed and happy grin
Will disappear and then, if I were you,
I would avoid the awful fix you're in.

Stick forward then, not back as you had thought,
Or your own plot of soil you may have bought.
