Spiral Of Woes Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Spiral Of Woes

Prime minister of the stars; with
Frowning face beguiled by
Woes unfortunate; they crystallized
The flash photo in marble statue
That is the face of many
I heard say from one behind me
That is the face of many
The spiral of woes it has engulfed
The Earth; first it began
Its attempts using its tentacles.
Not more.
Then the Sub-Conscious came;
I felt the sweltering heat
Of obfuscation cool little
By little; I saw first dawn
Then shining.

Blessed
The
Sub-Conscious
Be
It
Be
Our
Armory
Against
The
Blaring
Conscious
The
Spiral
Of
Woes
Melt
It
With
Magic
Bring
On
The
Night
And
The
White
Stars
And
Moon
And
Some
Clouds
Only.

Prime minister of the stars; with
Frowning face beguiled by
Woes unfortunate; they crystallized
The flash photo in marble statue
That is the face of many
I heard say from one behind me
That is the face of many
The spiral of woes it has engulfed
The Earth; first it began
Its attempts using its tentacles.
Not more.
Then the Sub-Conscious came;
I felt the sweltering heat
Of obfuscation cool little
By little; I saw first dawn
Then shining.

This is not the one. The one I recited started with: I AM THE SPIRIT OF DAWN. That is all that I cam remember.
