Spirit From The Past (Korea Regional) Poem by Ronald Chapman

Spirit From The Past (Korea Regional)

Seoul;
My spirit from the past,
My ghost floats,
Across this Rainbow Bridge.
Is this heaven I see in front of me?

I see four wheel carts,
Passing along side of me.
Where did the horses and people go?

I look up and ask, 'Is this heaven? '
I see giant blue and white birds flying across the sky!

I look around and see shops and markets.
Where did the sad and hungry past go?
I smell food and hear wonderful music from every direction.

I hear the familiar song Arirang.
People still remember the bridge to the past.
Can this be heaven I see, hear and smell all around me at last?
