Spirit knows
How you long to see its face
But only subtle glances
Come and go
Yearning remains
And the quest continues
To find the glow
And keep it burning
It covers you like a blanket
Of unknown fear
But leaves your feet
Uncovered for travel
It sings to you in dulcet tones
Simply suggesting that you stop and listen
It feeds you slowly
With soap for your soul
But always leaving room
For desert
It holds you in circumference
Spinning with opportunities
And choices
But it does not lead
