Spiritual Amnesia - Poem by DAVID GERARDINO

im a jester looking for redemption
in chaos.
there are blind beggers with new
suits, and full stomachs, .and empty
eyes.
there are golden vials filled with
blood and money.
there are deitys that smile if you
pay them.
there are cherubims stretched
on a operating table, and the good
part is, the cherubims hand the docter the knife.
