Split
Two lives
To hide two sides
Afraid of each other
How can you be
Two different things
That don't believe
in what the other one sees
you separate them
And they make each other wrong
How can you accept all sides of you
So that they can blend
like the melodies of a song
How I long for that sweet ease
The same way you're cooled by a summers breeze
The flow of life is a sumptuous tease
