Spoke The Lord Jesus Poem by Randy McClave

Spoke The Lord Jesus

God will separate the sheep from the goats
The lord has been watching and listening and taking notes,
Then on man's judgement day
Final destination for one and all the Lord will say.

'When I stood there and I was hungry'
"You didn't care, you wanted them to ignore and also flunk me, "
"You made sure that I didn't get a free lunch at school"
"And you believed it was right and not being cruel."

'When I stood there and I was thirsty'
"You just wanted me at your own mercy, "
"You didn't care of the dryness of my throat"
"So, you made sure I didn't get water while waiting in line to vote."

'When I stood there and I was a stranger'
"You screamed to all that I was evil and a danger, "
"Then you put razor wire in the water and watched me drown"
"You then wore a smile, and not a frown."

"When I stood there freezing you did not invite me in"
"You said that I was evil and full of sin, "
"When I needed clothing you didn't give me any clothes"
"You didn't care that I froze."

When you stand there the Lord will say to those on his left
"Depart from me, you who are cursed, i give you bereft, "
"You will be tossed into the eternal fire"
"That was prepared for the Devil and his angels from your desire."

When you stand there from the evils that you have said and done
They are all known and are remembered by the son,
Remember, 'What you did to these, you did to me too"
Spoke the Lord Jesus with hope and love for you.
