Spring Cruise

Swinburne's 'An Interlude'
could well be 'A Springtime Cruise'.

It could be two women
meeting in the woods by chance;
it could be a woman and a man;
it's definitely not two men.

The poet said
no more of the height of the meet,
than 'I remember, forget, and remember
What Love saw done and undone.'

I wonder if he tossed up
'What Love saw undone and done'?
