Spring Lullaby Poem by Micron Jan

Spring Lullaby

Softly now, the snow drifts away,
Life awakens in the day.
Tiny shoots through earth appear,
Whispers of spring are near.
Flowers bloom where frost once lay,
Softly now, the snow drifts away.

Sunlight stretches, warms the air,
Petals open everywhere.
Bees hum low in golden beams,
Nature stirs from quiet dreams.
Streams run clear, the sky is bright,
Sunlight stretches, warms the air.

Colors spill in fields and glades,
Gentle greens, soft purples, shades.
Every leaf, each petal, turns,
Life returns and softly yearns.
Earth exhales, the world is new,
Colors spill in fields and glades.

Softly now, the snow drifts away,
Life awakens in the day.
Spring has come with song and light,
Turning dark of winter bright.
Close your eyes, let dreams take flight,
Softly now, the snow drifts away.
