Spring's Rain!
No more snow!

As a man would know
a river does flow
downward
toward
the Sea

From the oceans
it rises,
mystified
no surprises
new form
warm
traveling upward
rises!

God purifies it
gathers it
cools it
prepares a baptismal event
re-gifts it to man,
lively torrent!

With loud
announcement
heavens stir
angels open
the gates

Earth and man
receive it.
Rebaptized
cleansed!
Weeds sprout
Skiers pout

Rivers flow
habitual
endlessly
satiating
cleansing
a divine ritual
