Stabbed

I get stabbed repeatedly
Daily
It's sometimes unexpected
Sometimes anticipated
Always in the heart
The scar tissue is thickening
Not as easy to get through
But the knife knows how to find new angles
So the scar will grow
I fear my life will never be without the knife
