Stagnant Love Poem by Jeremy Willson

Stagnant Love

Spilling my guts to a stranger
Isn't as scary
As the constant thought
That maybe we'll be together
Someday, I know that's dumb
And maybe I still won't be
The man you thought I was
I'm a stagnant pond to you
But if that's the case
You are my scum
