Stand Tall For The Warrior Of Love Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Stand Tall For The Warrior Of Love

Rating: 5.0

Within her porcelain skin
A heart fractured
Cracked by the cruelty of love
Spinning around and around
Like a cyclone against
The grain of insanity's disdain
Punishing all dreams
As the nightmares haunt on through

Still, she has so much passion
Even though this beautiful artistry
Has been beaten and thrown away
By narcissists and Neanderthals
Driving through the façade
Truly revealed
By the warzone of love itself

Through it all
This beautifully broken, warrior
Still stands tall
Coexisting with the errors
That surrounds the tragedy
Of these serpentine tongue times

Shattered, without descending
Down the spiral of hate and deceit
In which she has experienced
Way too much of
In which she would never want
Anyone else to feel this way

And through everything
Within the confines of her soul
Is a bright golden light
Shining through
The heavenly paradise of her heart

She was never a statue
Her existence was always
Much more than that
A living breathing gift
To those in need of love and affection

The battle cry
For the true balance of all mankind

She will always be within us all
So dig deep and feel
And fight for the freedom of her love

Glue her back together
She is a warrior of love
