Standing In Canyons Poem by Satish Verma

Standing In Canyons

Treading―
through self, you will
discover your other side.

A gateway
lotus pond, where you
will talk nonstop to poems.

My evening dress sheds
the microview―
of flesh for rising moon.

A pansy speaks
for the first time of
death's dilemma, to stay or to go.
