You are the sky
Holding hostage every star
Everything I ever needed
Is everything you are
Every thought I ever had
The only thing I could ever trust
Is the person that you are
Though you betrayed me in your lust
You are the angel that I found
That never had the chance to fly
You dragged me from grace
And tore my wings from the sky
My halo slips from my head
And yours braces my neck
You are the blood leaving all of my veins
