Staring Brought You Here Poem by Larry Perry Sr

Staring Brought You Here

Staring Brought You Here

Is it strange for me to stare off into nowhere

Sharing at something that is not there to see

Looking and seaching to find what can't be seen by my eyes

But I wonder why this can be for me to stare off into the air only to see nothing is there

Would anyone care if I tell of this strange thing that is happening to me

Could it be a sign of something to come for me to see now but can't see it just yet

Should I try to guess what will come next will it be in a day or later when I lay my head down to sleep

In my dreams will it will be there what ever it might be having me staring at something that I can not see

But the strange thing about it I can feel something or someone staring back at me

The feelings are real in my dreams as they are when I'm awake

Staring out at nowhere where's nothing is there but air and a strange feeling I get from something or someone that I can not see and can not shake the feeling

Well I close my eyes and count to three and I open my eyes slowly to see it visually what ever it is that I can not see but feel will it appear in real flash

Nevertheless I know it's real because it's with me everytime I stare at something that's not there

One day what ever it is will show it self and come alive for all to see the something that I've been staring at but could not see

Not by eyes at lease but by the heart that guided my eyes to stare off into nowhere at something that wasn't there

It was you all along traveling from miles away to make it here to me to stay

You would not say if you would ever come to be with me and stay so it was a surprise to know that you was the one I've staring been staring at all along

But my staring off into nowhere at something that wasn't there brought you closer and near to me my dear and I thank God for bringing you here to stare right at you in the flash
