Starry Night Poem by Sven Rhoads

Starry Night

Rating: 5.0

Alone I sit with the winds of autumn
Among the stars to exhale my woes
The moon is full and so comforting
In desolation of sweet starlight
Confess the words locked in my heart
Deep inside where nobody knows
I bare my soul to my lunar mother
To prove I'm worthy, I'll forever fight

With every pill for a chance at clarity
Until the shadows are washed away
I will temper my being for eternity
So I don't return to yesterday
