Starting Again Poem by Annie Long

Starting Again

Rating: 4.5

I may be small,
But I know where to start,
Apperance is not all,
It's what you have in your heart
I know what ive been through,
And yet I will stand tall,
I've ajusted my point of view,
Shall I ever fall?
I go over the rough,
And the turmoil caused by you,
Myself I am tough,
But now it is my part,
To start anew,
And stand up for what I believe in,
Even if you don’t have a clue,
I wont be a victim,
The bruises won't hurt,
I know where I've been,
I'm no longer dirt,
Money cant buy everything,
Well at least what is true,
You can put as much makeup on your face,
But that will never erase,
The ugliness that lies inside of you,
And so I say,
Without any argument againist my case,
I move on step up and reverse the decay,
I start a new road Far Far Away,
Because the anger and unhappiness in the world may,
Be only only what you think or see,
I walk alone on this path,
I don’t really care,
Your life is just air,
Your sticks and stones can break my bones,
But your words will never phase me.

Terrific in terms of feelings and the way it expresses them, (though it needed some revision, in my humble opinio, of course) . It is very strong, remains in mind!
