State Fair Judging Poem by Marilyn Lott

State Fair Judging

We wait so patiently
For our work to pass the test
We take pride in what we’ve done
As the judges choose the best

We couldn’t do much more
To get ready for the fair
We’ve shined and washed and polished
Now it’s how the judges care

So bring on your decision
As our craft projects await
There’s always another year
For a clear and brand new slate!
