Say you see me, differently than they do.
That you hear me in only the way I speak to you.
Say you love me, with a heart that’s pure
That the past were all poison but you are the cure.

Say the things I’ve longed to hear
When you lie with me and hold me near
Say you want me the way I want you
That you don’t want to let go, even if you do

Lie to me, make me forget
That you don’t love me even when you say it
Look me in the eyes convince me it’s real
That you feel the way I feel.

Just for the night, just for the day
Just a little longer, please, love, stay
