Staying Alive Poem by David Wood

Ukrainian citizens fighting
For the first time need to
Follow some simple rules
For survival.

After you fire your gun, do not
Reappear from the same spot to
Fire again - change your location
Or you will be killed.

It will take more than brick
Walls, to protect you from
Incoming fire. To stay safe,
Always have an escape route.

Always change your location
After you raise your head to
Look for a target. If you do not
You will be killed quickly.
