Steadfast Poem by Nicholas Williams

Steadfast

… whispers in the wind tease me, trying to tempt me from serenity’s clutches... only this love so pure will not founder and let me be pulled to anothers reality …. eyes wide shut allowing time to be measured in kisses, my heart beats to the flicker of the stars and as the tide ebbs on distant shores a crisp breath carrys the passion for life wrapping me in soft clouds like the folds of an angels wings ….

… whispers in the dark daring me to jump blindly into chaos … as chariots of the night sky blaze trails to follow … but steadfast I stand bound by chains of love, knowledge being the sustenance fuelling the energy within, tranquillity flows through my veins like a calm sea bringing light to the dark …. confusion foiled by the clarity of an angels song extending open arms to the steadfast.
