Stereotyped - Poem by Hannah Anderson

Just another teen
Doing nothing right
dropping out of school
staying up all night

I'm just another druggie
life going to waste
never looking forward
not part oif the race

I'm lost and confused
why'd you think that?
i know where I'm going
and I know where I'm at.

Just another girl
Just another whore
You always think the worst of us
Never search to our core

Getting straight A's
staying up all night
drinking keeps me up
you think that I'm all right

Crying through the nights
Smiling by the day
you know how it is yourself
but you look the other way

faking an image
the one you want to see
being someone else
scared of being me

You are right; we definitely are stereotyped. Great way of showing it. (Report) Reply
