Sticks Pete Poem by Lamar Cole

Sticks Pete

Rating: 3.5

Sticks Pete gained his rep.
By always being in step.
His band uniform was blue and gold.
Playing in the marching band kept him on his toes.

He could really play those skins.
Twirling those drumsticks.
And sometimes flipping them below his chin.
Sticks Pete never missed a beat.
His being section leader was so neat.
