Still Hope For New Year
Still hope for new year
Year may come and go
But we show
Progress and prosperity
With blessings from an almighty
So far so good
And we understood
Not good things happened this year
It was spent with death fear
How many people laid lives?
Scores of people I believe
Either through fanatic's action
Or through bombardment reaction
People left their homes
And were nowhere welcome
No country willingly admitted
And were badly treated
Lucky were those
Who chose?
To cross over amidst death threat
But were warmly greeted too
I wish for all those
Who underwent bad phase
And still failed to understand consequences
But god willing, New Year shall bring good promises
Let us bury past
And cast
Our resolve for new beginning
It shall certainly be shining
