Stop Arguing, Girls Poem by Mike Porter

Stop Arguing, Girls

It is funny really, what makes me, sad inside.
To see my loved ones argue, makes me want to run and hide.
To fight over nothing, oh so trivial it all seems.
To shout and lots of tantrums with nasty horrible screams.
Punching and a pinching, a slapping oh so hard,
Chasing around the table, with sword shouting' 'en guard'!
A slip, a trip, a fall, the crying it now begins.
Mommy must now step in and separate the squabbling twins.
I do not care who starts it, I know now it must end.
All this stupid pointless arguing, is driving me around the bend.
You two sisters should be so happy, do not know how lucky you are.
To be able to love each other, to miss each other when you are afar.
Some family's they just have nothing, no strength to shout or scream
Just happy to have each other, content with just their dreams.
So girls just please stop fighting, step back and try to contemplate.
All this hatred for one another, should be 'love' and not all this hate.

Love should be the rule within families, but sibling rivalries are almost always inevitable. Nice poem, Mike
