Storming The Castle Poem by White Tiger

Storming The Castle

Approaching on horseback, I demanded to see
The king and his horsemen, who will now serve me

I'm storming the castle, leaving no stone un-turned
I've gained strength and pride, from lessons learned

My frame of mind, has betrayed my soul
For I trusted the king and the writings on his scroll

But the land is poor and the people aren't free
To serve who they wish and live in harmony

For this reason, I storm this castle by force
And to change this land, from its sorrowful course

I must make my stand, in the face of death
With every heartbeat, or until my last breath.
