Stranded Fox Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Stranded Fox

Stranded Fox

Lost was fox on asphalt
-shyly looked, then stopped
-and stared perplexed
-seemed to be all questions.

Did I miss to hear?
-or the fox never said?

We exchanged many looks!
-joyfully surprised I did not
-follow norm; photoshoots!

Lifted leg, peed and left?
-An insult? What it meant?

Wish could have deciphered
-Greeting? Complaint? Or a curse?
