Stranded From Each Other Poem by Ray Hansell

Stranded From Each Other

Rating: 4.0

A daughter stranded
So far away
A mother's heart crying
On Christmas day

So many hopes
Were dashed away
When plans fell through
Before Christmas day

A mother's heart broken
A daughter's soul in pain
Because things did not work out
Even though they tried just the same

Maybe for some reason
This year wasn't meant to be
But maybe Christmas twenty nineteen
Is the Christmas, together you'll see

a touching poem Ray.. holidays are the worst times when we strongly feel pain and distance.
