Stranger - Poem by Aparna Chatterjee

Walking on the
Streets of
Leigh-on-Sea,
I think about my
Identity back at
Home, that gives me
Some solace and
Security…
For here, I’m
A stranger,
Just as every
Person is a
Stranger
To me.

(Leigh-on-Sea is a place in Essex, UK)
