Streets Poem by Wagner Miranda

Streets

Haven't gone crazy yet
There's so much trouble left
I try hard to keep my feet on the ground
When I see someone's face around

Come close to me
Before they darken all the streets
My mind is away
While she's traveling overseas

Under the crystal waves
she gently waved her hand
Then suddenly caught my eye
by a simple twist of fate

So pray for me
On my lone journey home
Under velvet skies
Your star has been shown
