Stress Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Stress

Suffered from fatigue and emotional tension
Whenever there's pain there's hope
Difficult moments brought upon an invulnerable state
Which forces the body to react differently
Becoming deformed almost if not entirely
The intensity of the pressure
Overburdens one with fear
One may not understand how to regain themselves wholly
If never recovered may result in mental anguish
Leading to the destruction of one's own
To get a feel of the bitterness pain may cause
There is melancholy in the mind and sorrow in the soul
With life being responsible for the lowness in spirit
Engaging heavily worrying in thoughts
May cause decreased activity involving the heart
Exhaustion in the body causes less activity
Breaking down the central nervous system
Stress stings until it detoriate you
Leaving you lifeless to it's effects
