Stroll Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Stroll

Stroll

If you come to down-town
Come with legs, bring eyes
Leave at home brain, heart.

Here is like a zoo, see rehab
Wild goes with wilderness
On the back or shoulders
No one gets single tap:
"Hey friend, human, "
"Hey Neighbour, "
"Any need? "
"Can I help in your life? "
"What you want? "

Though lovely observing beauty
Sliding naked or in shorts or
In jersey as if wind or breeze
Showing curves, ups and downs
And the hairs floating in the air
And the signs above shops
Food stuffs, restaurants
And lovers get in, out

It is pain to see poor sitting there
With their dogs, cats and cups
With their hair curled like bud
Germinate in the ice
With clothes greasy,
Mostly torn
Unlike those on the knee for fashion.

Come down-town, go around
Have a walk and observe
Leave at home and in the safe
Your brain and your mind and your heart.
