Stubborn Poem by anthony jones

Stubborn

Throw down the ladders from above
They will be sending help, for sure.
Try another thousand times
To look up.
Oh, I'll be going home today, just you see

Underneath, the water moves
And I am standing in it's cold.
It is the silence I am
Afraid of.
Oh, I'll be going home today, just you wait and see.
