'Stuck In The Past' Poem by james watkin

'Stuck In The Past'

He finds them, to hold, problematic;
Stringed, as on windy days.
Events' recurrent flap-flashing
Time-skied, left with who plays.

If letting go of them more painful is
Joy in it, what sustains?
"I'm free! " All that's heard of one who
'stuck in the past' remains.
