Studies Poem by Herbert Nehrlich

Studies

I have perused anatomy
and studied it with energy
it brought me so much misery
I thought it really hated me.
I switched then to psychiatry
and learned why things ought never be
the way that other people see
that money was the only key,
I got myself a canopy
beneath which stood, (principii)
a couch for the interrogee
each day I stocked my moneytree
layby of course. Tall ships at sea.
