When the lotus withers and dies
Its umbrella tops keeping out the rain are gone;
While the chrysanthemum's in demise
'Gainst the frost proudly its bony stems still fight on.
Remember the good times throughout the year,
One should always remember the good times -
Times when here and there
Are yellow oranges and green clementines.
