Submission Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Submission

the touch of your hands
was a gentile breeze upon the surface

if desire is the sun
the temperature have warmed

the wind howls at me so faint, so soft
and I would surrender myself over to victory

A kiss that moves the clouds, earth and the mountains
where a taste of bliss erupts the rivers of an ocean
