Success Poem by Francis Duggan

Success

Compared to many your success in life seems small
But what success means to most is not success to all
You are one who struggles for to make ends meet
In a World where many for success does compete
In life nothing easy does ever come your way
You do work hard for quite low take home pay
Yet even in your many moments of despair
You never utters the words life is unfair
Youhave never wronged anyone in any way
And of others never have any unkind things for to say
To your higher self you try to remain true
And for this credit to you is only your due
Though the praises of the wealthy and famous the gullible masses may sing
Success in itself it is a relative thing.
