Success Poem by Sharbaniranjan Kundu

Success

He was a brilliant man.
Ambition made him marry into a family
he thought he deserved.
But alas alliances should never me made like that.
What you need is love
and not convenience
or sinews to success.
He forced his ways.
But though women nurture
they can destroy too! -
unlike men, without qualms!
So life crumbled
when he needed the support most.
Much of what he dreamt was not to be.
Now he would have to seek another life
for what he could not have in this.
Good luck, O seeker of salvation!
