Success Story - Poem by CDM Anderson

My mind is a gutter,
Filled with thoughts of success
That come true.
I do not misconstrue the truth
Of succeeding, because my success story will
And shall
Come true.
Don't you think?
It's wrong to say that I'll be stuck in the gutter,
But this gutter has an abyss -
An abyss that will take me farther than life.
Probably farther than expected, but better
Than just laying here, thinking about it; instead, it will come true, right?
