Suddenly I See Poem by David Blake

Suddenly I See

Somewhere lost in the nigh, just before
the first light of day, I dream that I still
love you madly. Kisses soft gentle, and
sweet fluttering like angel's wings, I long
for them now to awake me from my
blissful sleep. The glow of your being
above me, radiating passions and love as
if your aura were afire with life and joy.
Memories deeply etched into the essence
of my lamenting soul, stirred by the echos
of remembrance through my dreams serve
only now to mock me. And as I awake
Suddenly I See you are no longer with me.
