Suffering It Must Be Poem by Howard Kern

Suffering It Must Be

Suffering has to reap what has been, an evil
harvest.
Deriving from evolution and/or original sin.
It's never ending burn of molten rock, hoping
for rapture that never comes.
It must be seen with no sense of personal
influence.
It invades all perceptions of reality.
Communication is the soul of understanding It.
A roadmap of life is never sure, but It is there.
It must be overcome to be alive.
Proper amounts of effort must be used on It.
It must be seen in reflection to help forge a
path.
Suffering it must be, until rapture and freedom.
