Glorious Victory Poem by Howard Kern

Glorious Victory

Sometimes that nightmare,
Sometimes that saint,
Sometimes that savior,
Many times my happiness,
Making life bearable still,
As thrills of life still give,
Loves that unite us all,
Not quitting or giving in, after fifty years,
More good days than bad,
And still together,
That in itself,
A glorious victory.

Loves that unite us all, / Not quitting or giving in, after fifty years, / More good days than bad, And still together, / That in itself, / A glorious victory. And that indeed is a glorious victory. Beautiful.
