Suffering Of Love Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Suffering Of Love

Sometimes too many tears alone
For Thine Love; Tears must flow
Breaking hearts, one only knows
Feeds upon, a lovely soul

Dream a wish upon a prayer
Happiness becomes despair
Following the hope of gentle care
When came a promise never there

Heartless, touching tender needs
Ages dark beyond once golden dreams
Thine eyes that stole the best of these
Precious hell of a memory

From once the better part unseen
Wakes in darkness for only she
To steal away for a selfish need
Lusting those who bleed

Only then there was a perfect love
An innocence with dreams thereof
Her Devil who made the darkness come
Suffering his love
