'Suicide Is The Death Of The Soul' - Poem by Carrol Hoffman

It is the last resort when your living in hell
no where to run
no where to hide
you try your best to get away but nothing works
you choose to end your life
some people dont understand
unlike me i understand perfectly
some say if you try your a bad person
your not
your just too tired to go on
your just too tired to live
your just too tired to fight
some say god's there
some say he's not

you think you've found something to live for
but it's all a lie
another betrayal
another broken heart
more lies
so you decide to end it all
so you find a bridge on a cold stormy night
you jump to your death
the monument by the bridge reads:
in this river lies a jumper
no one could tell her she wasn't alone
so she found this bridge and ended it all
