A suicide's note-Does it really mean suicide? Kiss is for love only.Perhaps the poet is referring to love in whose depth he wants to die.- - Short and beautiful. (Report)Reply

How gentle and sweet it makes suicide sound. How utterly simple; it almost draws you to wish you could feel the kiss of the river for yourself. Such power with such effortless words...just goes to show how impactful of a writer Langston Hughes was. (Report)Reply

killing himself in a river. Loaded but short.
